ArtRitmica – The project
ArtRitmica was founded in 2016 on the initiative of the non-profit association Giovani e Cuore Aritmico Onlus – GECA ONLUS – and is aimed at young people and their families. In this project, art is understood as a communication tool carrying a proactive message related to the health of young people: through the power of images, of colours, an arrhythmic heart is no longer understood as a pathological case but as an opportunity for encounter, for redemption. An input to creativity.
Project beneficiaries
This project was created to disseminate, through street art, a message of life and hope to be communicated and shared with society, as well as with patients and their families.
City walls become important means of communication and direct tools to implement an important social awareness campaign as well as urban regeneration. We are also going to convey this important message in schools, through the creation of street art workshops and an illustrative artist’s brochure distributed in major social centres.
